In year 2002 Ercon Middle East Industries was established, with an aim to diverse the market with an fresh and novel approach delivering quality designed products.


Milestones

  • Ercon has expanded its Switchgear business to Pakistan.
  • Ercon Group regularly conducts meeting sessions and workshops to train their production staff for quality control procedures.
  • Ercon Hamriya inaugurates Foam gas kiting machine & initiated production for standard products.
  • Ercon Group is now offering subcontracting jobs with their CNC v-cutting machines for cladding jobs to different construction sectors.

Production Capabilities:

Design & Engineering:

  • Computer Aided Designing under the supervision of highly skilled team of Engineers makes it possible to do the things right not only first time but every time during manufacturing
  • Continuous evaluation and upgradation of design to keep the product abreast with the emerging & changing market demands
  • Offers Support to consultants and contractors during project initiation stage
  • Tailor made solutions for specific customer requirements due to rich experience
  • Compliance to both international and regional standards
  • Equipped with design engineering tools to do a system study both in terms of short circuit levels and Harmonic study

Metal Processing:


  • Full fledged sheet metal processing shop installed with all the necessary machines including state-of-the-art CNC machines makes the company a true manufacturer of switchgear and not an assembler.
  • Switchboards manufactured out of High quality Electro Galvanized Sheet Steel (EGSS) imported from the most reputed mills in the world. Panels made out of EGSS withstand Corrosion and sand blasting effects of tough climatic conditions of Middle East.
  • Right from the shearing operation till the buffing operation, high standards of process quality are maintained by the highly skilled team of operators under the guidance of qualified QA/QC Engineers.

Painting:

  • Seven Tank Dip Type Pre-treatment Process [Degreasing, Zinc Phosphating & Chromate Sealing] to enhance corrosion resistance of panels.
  • After pre-treatment, the panels are powder coated in in-house High Precision Powder Coating Booths and oven baked at 250°C. This ensures no rusting and scratch resistant painting of panels.
  • In-house Painting is type tested by doing 1000 hours salt spray testing of the coated parts in independent laboratories. This ensures the pre-treatment and painting are perfect to suit the GCC climate.

Assembly Lines:

  • Large assembly hall with flexibility to assemble customized panels of any dimensions & type simuntaneoulsy.
  • All assembly lines fully equipped with all necessary tools, jigs, fixtures and other necessary infrastructure
  • High Working standards are maintained in all the assembly lines complying with the quality requirements of the products All work tables provided with pneumatic tools.

Copper Processing:

  • Separate busbar fabrication shop equipped with modern machines.
  • Complete busbar processing of punching, cutting, shearing & bending is done using the state of the art CNC machines to maintain finest quality standards and accuracy with robust design in compact switchboards.
  • Finest quality of copper is imported from the diffrent parts of the world to maintain Ercon quality standards up to the mark. Copper used by Ercon for busbar assembly is 99.9% pure verified by diffrent quality tests performed within Ercon premises and reknowned international labouratires.

ERCON has been certified under ISO 9001:2008 for many years. ERCON LV Panels are Totally type tested (T TA) as per IEC-61439-2 standard and certified by Asta Intertek (UK) with world-renowned international laboratories ie IPH Berlin.

The zeal for continuous improvement and quality consciousness has enabled ERCON to succeed many accolades.

ERCON products are approved and accepted by leading International EPC Contractors and Consultants, prevailing approvals from large numbers of Ministries, Oil & Gas Companies, Utilities, etc
